T.J. Cloutier, Bio
Poker does not make players by birth. It is the sheer dedications and excellence, which makes the master players. T.J. Cloutier is one of the few such players, who had a number of hardships in life and at last ended up to be a poker master. He was born in California long ago in the 1940s and got his graduations from the University of California, Berkeley. He could not continue for long, due to poverty he had to leave college. In search for some occupations, he even joined the army. During this time, he started playing poker as entertainment and gradually became more interested in playing big.
As he got detained from his job due to a severe knee injury, he deliberately entered the poker world and gave big efforts in to make a difference. He became a full time poker player and started being a heavy contender in the poker world. He started playing poker formally from 1956, but he was a poker king in the late 1960s. He has more than 252 cash wins at the poker tournaments. He is more specialized in playing the WSOP and the Omaha events and had made some nice money contributing his mind to the game.
The famous series, where T.J. Cloutier had really made a milestone, includes Pot Limit High and Omaha 8. He had two 2nd position finishes at the WSOP tournaments in 1985 and 2000. He also had a close finish at the 3rd position at the Poker events in 2003. WPT tournaments also proved to be the right place for his glory. Some consider him more profound in tournament poker than Doyle Brunson himself!
Being one of the oldest players of the game, T.J. Cloutier has given a lot to the game strategies. He also has written many poker books on the game policies and techniques to dominate the game.
